Gerald Burnett

Funeral service for Gerald Burnett, age 73, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Trinity Harvest Church of God, Sulphur Springs with Bro Jason Conner officiating and Brett Burnett assisting. Interment will follow at Shooks Chapel with Tony Colley, Barry Waters, Brett Burnett, Don Evans and Jeff Brown serving as pallbearers and Todd Parnell serving as honorary pallbearer. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Mr. Burnett passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

Gerald Glen was born on May 24, 1947 in Sulphur Springs, TX to Grover and Emily Alice (Rushin) Burnett.  He married Glenda Brown on January 12, 1968 in Cooper, Texas.  He was a truck Driver for Truline Corp.  Gerald was a member of Trinity Harvest Church of God. He will always be remembered for being a loving, hardworking and Christian man.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda; sons, Christopher Burnett, Michael and wife, Amber Burnett; grandchildren, Bailee Burnett, Hunter Burnett and wife, Kathryn, Colten Burnett, Ashten Burnett; great grandson, Jaxon Burnett; sister, Patricia Thompson and husband, Bill; brother, Archie Burnett and wife, Francell; nephews, Brett Burnett, Barry Waters and niece, Pamela Adams.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents.
