Georgean Moore

Funeral service for Georgean Moore, age 85, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Joe Clark officiating. Interment will take place on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Fairview Cemetery in Colorado Springs, CO. Mrs. Moore passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Sunny Springs Nursing Home in Sulphur Springs.

Georgean was born on April 5, 1937 to George and Hattie Davis Miller in Walters, OK. She married Robert E. Moore in 1954. She was a homemaker and proud member of the U.S. Air Force Officers’ Wives Club. She was president at Ellsworth AFB, Rapid City, S.D. and Dyess AFB in Abilene, TX. She was also a member and Layleader at Church in the Wildwood in Green Mountain Falls, CO.

She is survived by her children, Gail Clark of Sulphur Springs, TX, Robert E. Moore Jr. and wife Helen of Kent, WA, Leslie Lewis and husband Steve of Cascade, CO, Catharine Lolley and husband Jack of San Tan Valley, AZ, James Moore Sr. and wife Cheryl of Canon City, CO; grandchildren, Cal Clark and wife Valerie, Joe Clark and wife Amanda, Cindi Andrew and husband Chris, Jon Lolley and wife Sara, Ashley Pitt and husband Mike, Christen Ammon and husband Drew, James Moore Jr. and wife Kristi, Paul Clark and wife Taylor, William Moore, Aundrea Loeffler and husband Trey; great grandchildren, Dakota Clark, Madison Clark, Thomas Andrew, Zachary Clark, Ruth Clark, Katelynn Andrew, Joseph Clark, Torin Ammon, Harper Clark, Jackson Clark, Harper Moore, Murphy Ammon and great great grandson Tristan Moore.

Georgean was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Moore Sr.; parents, George O. Miller and Hattie Davis Miller Peery; infant son, Thomas Francis Moore; sister, Pansy Miller Aiken; daughter-in-law, Anna Marie Hobby Moore; and son-in-law, James H. Clark.
