Geneva Beckham

Funeral service for Geneva Beckham, of Campbell, will be held Friday, at 2:00 P.M. at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Campbell. Rev. Jon Nesbitt will officiate. Burial will follow at the Brigham Cemetery. Mrs. Beckham will lie in state at the church from noon, Tnursday, until 8: P.M. that evening. Mrs. Beckham died Wednesday, Nov. 12, in Cooper, at the Birchwood Nursing Home.
She was born May 14, 1925, in Celeste, to Thomas and Mertha Adamson George. She was 83 years old. Mrs. Beckham married L. J. Beckham, Jr. in Fate, in 1950. During her working career, she worked as a nurse aide. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons: Rex James Beckham, of Sachse; Allen Bradford Beckham , of Magnolia; and John Bart Beckham of Campbell. Daughter: Linda Jan Capps of Cooper; and step-daughter, Joan Peugh, of Houston. Sisters: Gracie Kelly of Ladonia and Ruth Horton of Cooper. Grandchildren: Denna, Alisha, Johnnie, Horace, Bobby, Allen, and Patricia Step-grandchildren: Ann, Pam, and Joe
Preceded in death by: husband; 1 son, Stephen Wayne Beckham; 1 daughter, Peggy Leverne Daniel; 4 Brothers and 4 Sisters.
