Gena McFadden

Funeral services for Gena McFadden, age 56, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 19, 2011, with Butch Burns and Brad Flues officiating. Interment will follow at Gafford Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Gena McFadden passed away Sunday evening, January 16, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Sulphur Springs on October 23, 1954, the daughter of Nelson H. Ross and Jean Burns Ross. She was a member of League Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include: son, Michael Glen McFadden of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Marisa Rea Phillips of Rockwall; mother, Jean Ross of Sulphur Springs; two sisters, Jana Hawkins of Sulphur Springs and Janina Ross of Austin; grandchildren, Blake Nelson Phillips and Reagan Jeanne Phillips. She was preceded in death by her father. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.
