Gary Adams

Memorial service for Gary Lee “Buffalo” Adams, age 60, of Greenville will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel.  There will be no formal visitation.  Mr. Adams passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at his residence in Greenville.

Gary was born on September 8, 1958 in Ft. Worth, TX to Jerry Adams and Martha Bernice Crump Gilbreath.  He married Carla Adams on November 22, 1985.  Gary was a Carpenter by trade. He loved to spend his free time fishing and cooking.

He is survived by his wife Carla; daughters, Dana Gilbreath and fiancé, Tim, Stacie Hebert; son,  Charles “Bubba” Gilbreath; grandchildren, Landon Gilbreath, Austin Hebert, Heston Gilbreath, Kaitlyn Hebert, Alex Ferrell, Brittney and Cody Peeples; step-sons, Jason Shaw and Darrell Morris; step-daughter, Sharon Shaw Coleman; step-dad, Sam Gilbreath; step-mom, Letha Adams; brothers, Rodney Adams, David Adams, Michael Grooms; sisters, Paula Davis, Wanda Hibbler; His children want to thank his best friend, Joey Waters and wife, Angelia for all the love and care they gave him in the last six years.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charlie Glass.
