Funeral Services for Freddie Mills (Momma Freddie), age 98 of Sulphur Springs will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Lewis and Todd Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Sulphur Bluff Cemetery with William Mills, Todd Owens, Jerry Wayne Womack, David Birdwell, Jimmy Stewart and Ron Taylor serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Freddie (Momma Freddie) passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Carriage House Manor. She was born on March 18, 1918 in Charleston the daughter of Clate and Brilla (Elmore) Lile. She was a seamstress at H. D. Lee, self-employed and did alternations at Town & Country Cleaners.

She is survived by her sons, Dale Mills of Sulphur Bluff and Lynn Mills and wife, Judy of Sulphur Springs; son-in-law, Gaylon Birdwell of Marble Falls; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Mills of Duncanville; sister-in-law, Avon Lile and host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Pat Birdwell; brothers, Mack Lile and Doyle Lile and sisters, Dorothy Acker and Dixie Moore.
