Florine Skelton

Funeral services for Florine Skelton, 72, of Dallas will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 19, 2011. Interment will follow at Martin Springs Cemetery, with Delayne Dillard, Tony Tanton, Chris Seabrook, James Seabrook, Adam Seabrook and Jake Mannis serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Florine Skelton passed away at Methodist Medical Center Thursday morning, December 15, 2011. She was born in Pago Pago, American Samoa on November 10, 1939, the daughter of Louis T. Gordon and Lina (Talili) Gordon. She married William Skelton in Compton, California March 4, 1967; he survives. She was a hairdresser, a member of First Baptist Church, and loved by her family and friends.
Survivors include: two daughters, Patricia Skelton of Austin and Ada Marie Seabrook of Rockwall; sister, Lina Prendergast of American Samoa; two brothers, Leo Lafaele of Oceanside, California and Tai Lafaele of Riverside California; grandchildren, Victoria Seabrook, Olivia Seabrook and Adam Seabrook. She was preceded in death by her parents.
