Flora Owens

A graveside service for Flora Owens, age 84, of Paris, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at Peerless Cemetery, with Rev. Ray Evers officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Flora Owens passed away Monday morning, November 10, 2008, at Paris Regional Medical Center. She was born in Emblem, on January 21, 1924, the daughter of William and Rosie Kaufman Titsworth. She married Johnny Everett Owens, at Cooper, on September 8, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1978. Mrs. Owens was a retired cook for Delta Nursing Home and a homemaker. She was a member of Peerless Baptist Church.
Survivors include: three sons, Raymond Everett Owens and wife, Faye, Glen Owens and wife, Wanda, all of Paris and Billy Don Owens and wife, Pattie, of Cumby; daughter, Shirley Ann Brown and husband, Tommy, of Sulphur Springs; brother, William A. Titsworth and wife, Marie, of Irving; sister, Adell Vandergriff of Farmers Branch and grandchildren, Becky McCann, Milissa Wilson, Mikel Owens, James Owens, Billy Don Owens, II, Jonathon Owens, Joe Miller, Jeremy Miller, Tammy Long, Charles Brown, Jean Stewart and David Stewart and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter, Virginia Ruth Stewart; two brothers, Aubrey Titsworth and Junior Titsworth and two grandchildren.
