Faye Bryant

A funeral service for Faye Dell Bryant, age 83, of Como will be conducted at Independent Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 5, 2013 , with Rev. Derek Johnson and Kevin Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery in Lubbock, Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Her sons will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Faye Dell Bryant passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 at Hospice of East Texas Home Place in Tyler. She was born in Camp County, the daughter of Harris and Lillie Smart. She married Lorenzo Bryant in Pittsburg, Texas on August 20, 1947; he survives. She was a nurse and a member of the Baptist faith. She was a deaconess at her church.
Other survivors include: six sons, Lorenzo Bryant, Jr., Anthony Bryant (Susan), Rodney Bryant (Yolanda), Harry Bryant (Fay), Bryan Kevin Bryant and Ralph Bryant (Doreen); sister, Ruth Priestly (Clarence), brother, Chancle Smart (June); 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
