Faye Barnes

Funeral service for Faye Nell Barnes, age 87 of Princeton, TX will be held at 10:00A.M. on Wednesday November 24, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Rev Byron George officiating. Interment will follow at Yantis Cemetery with Brock Leach, Ben Leach, Jake Barnes, Jon Graff, Milos Stevanovic and Mike Wegrzyn serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 6:00-8:00P.M. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mrs. Barnes passed away on November 20, 2021 in Emory, TX.

Faye was born on April 11, 1934 in Yantis, TX to Byron and Edith (Slatten) Davis. She received a bachelor’s degree from East Texas State Teachers College. Faye worked as a service representative for Centennial Trendmaker Homes. She was a member of the Yantis Quilting Club. Faye was also a member of the Princeton church of Christ.

She is survived by her sons, Andy Barnes and wife, Lisa; Norman Barnes and wife, Stacie; daughter, Belenda Leach And husband, James; grandchildren, Rachel Stevanovic, Brock Leach, Ben Leach, Elaine Wegrzyn, Jada Graff and Jake Barnes; great grandchildren, Weldon Stites, Paige Leach, Ivy Leach, Caden Leach, Hunter Leach and Tyson Graff; brother, Carl Davis and sister, Evelyn Crump.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, Clifford Davis, Dixie George, Waymon Davis, Joyce Wyatt, Joseph Davis, Ardell Davis and Melvin Davis; granddaughter, Taylor Barnes.
