F.A. Simpson

Graveside services for F. A. Simpson, age 87, of Frisco, will be conducted at Nelta Cemetery, at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 7, 2010. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
F. A. Simpson passed away Friday morning, June 4, 2010 at Centennial Medical Center of Frisco. He was born in Hopkins County on October 31, 1922, the son of Worley Oscar Simpson and Beulah Simpson. He married Nona Dell Saxton in Oklahoma on January 23, 1943; she survives. Mr. Simpson was a self-employed grocer and later worked for Craver's Hardware and Foxworth Lumber Yard. He was a member of Cash Church of Christ. He served in the United States Army.
Other survivors include: son, Charles Frank Simpson; brothers, Dempsey Simpson and wife, Jean, of Abilene; sisters, Sherry Yeary and husband, Russell Edward, of Abilene; grandchild; Joseph Edwin Simpson and great-granddaughter, Molly Simpson. He was preceded in death by brother, Edward Simpson.
