Funeral services for Ezra "Junior" Rosselot, age 84, of Dallas, formerly of Como, will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 6, 2008, with Pastor Allan Priest officiating. Interment will follow at Conner Cemetery, with Arlen Rosselot, Paul Rosselot, Jason Bahm, T. J. Guajardo, Joshua Guajardo and Ray Wilson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Guajardo, Rayland Knighten, Charlie Rosselot, Buford Rosselot, Ricky Knighten, Wayne Knighte, Micheal Knighten and Lonny Morgan. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Ezra "Junior" Rosselot passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. He was born in Edinburg, on March 25, 1924, the son of William Ezra and Miranda Slatton Rosselot. He married Willie Ann Waller, on December 12, 1957, in Dallas. She preceded him in death in 1997. Mr. Rosselot was a maintenance worker for Timberline Hospital of Dallas. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include: four sisters, Iva Jean Butler, Frances Duke, Leah Morgan, all of Dallas and Hazel Mae Rosselot of San Juan; step-daughter, Mary Sue Knighten of Foreman, Arkansas, numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two step-sons, Leonard Edwards, A. C. Edwards; step-daughter, Jimmy Bell Clark; three brothers, Buford, Paul and William Rosselot and two sisters, Nettie Simmons and Nellie Criddle. Memorials may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church Building Fund.
