Etta Carroll

A graveside service for Etta Lou Carroll, age 83, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at North Hopkins Cemetery, Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. T. C. Carroll and Rev. Jordan Byrd officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Long, Dan McKinney, Mark McClendon and Jay McClendon. No formal visitation is scheduled.
Etta Lou Carroll passed away Thursday morning, January 31, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center in Sherman. She was born in Birthright on August 5, 1929, the daughter of Tommy Sandifeer and Mattie Lucille (Perkins) Sandifeer. She married Roy Lee Carroll in Birthright on November 3, 1948. He preceded her in death in 2003. She was a retired teacher's aide for North Hopkins I.S.D. and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include : two daughters, Tonya Brown and husband, Mark, of Sherman and Tanye Byrd and husband, Ron, of Whitehouse; grandchildren, Eli Brown and Kami Dever and husband, Ben, Jordan Byrd and wife, Stevie, and Josh Byrd and one great-grandchild, Levi Dever. Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church.
