A Funeral service for Erma Lee Ball will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2013, at the Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bradley Edge officiating. Interment will follow at Peerless Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Erma Lee Ball passed away Saturday morning, June 29, 2013, at Sunny Springs Nursing Home. She was born in Hopkins County on October 19, 1933 to William Elmer Arnold and Alice (Keith) Arnold. She married Clayborn Ball in Hopkins County on May 5, 1951; he preceded her in death in 2004. Mrs. Ball was a homemaker and a seamstress for H.D. Lee Company. She was a member of the Miracle Revival Church.
Mrs. Ball is survived by: daughter, Vicky Winstead, of Sulphur Springs; son, Phillip Ball and wife, Kim, of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Wesley Clay Winstead, Heather Gregory, Jacob Ball, Josh Cockrum, Amber Hooker and Jordan Cockrum; and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, L. Z. Arnold and Roy T. Arnold, three sisters, Marie Griffin, Opal Strain, and Ruby Downs, and one son-in-law, Wesley Winstead.
