Funeral services for Elfleta Wilburn, age 68, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2011, with Rev. Johnny Touchstone and Jimmy Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, with Gerald Wilburn, Raymond Wilburn, Danny Wilburn, Rodney Bird, Russell Grimes, Billy Don Brumley, Hunter Coleman and Adam Wilburn serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at Murray-Orowsky Funeral Home.
Elfleta Wilburn passed away Thursday morning, February 10, 2011, at her residence. She was born in Wood County, on February 5, 1943, the daughter of Walter Grimes and Annie Ruth (Attaway) Grimes. She married James T. Wilburn, in Blossom, on May 20, 1959. He preceded her in death in 2008. Mrs. Wilburn was co-owner of Wilburn's Dairy Equipment and a member of Martin Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include: mother, Annie Ruth Grimes of Martin Springs; daughter, Jamie Swasso and husband, Duane, of Mesquite; son, John Wilburn and wife, Lesa of Sulphur Springs; brother, Ray Grimes and wife VAnnis of Martin Springs; grandchildren, Tanesha and Courtney Randolph, Amber Wilburn, Ashley Wilburn, Harley Wilburn , Heston Wilburn and Caemon Wilburn and great-grandchild, Allyson Dykes. She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter, Jeanna Wilburn.
