El Stephens

Funeral arrangements for El Darris Stephens, age 83 of Yantis will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, May 25, 2015 at Lake Fork Baptist Church with the Bro. Perry Crisp and Bro. Randy Sadler officiating. Interment will follow at Yantis Cemetery with Ronnie Stephens, Robert Gayler, Jimmy Rogers, Jerry Williams, Bobby Ogle, and Danny Friddle serving as Pallbearers. Mike Mathews will serve as the Honorary Pallbearer. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday May 24, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mrs Stephens passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at her residence. She was born the daughter of C.J. (Boy) Graham and Bertie (Warren) Graham on May 15, 1932 in Yantis. She married Johnie Stephens in Rockwall, Texas on July 20, 1949 He preceded her in death in 2010. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lake Fork Baptist Church

She is survived by her daughter, Valinda Stephenson and husband Don, son, Clayton Stephens and wife Melissa, all of Yantis, Texas; grandchildren Matthew Stephenson, Jon Stephenson and Marc Stephenson, Chris Locke, Samantha Morgan and Kaylyn Nunez; great grandchildren Dominick Stephenson, Ranie Stephenson, Destiny Stephenson, Savannah Stephenson and Dakota Stephenson, Ashton Locke, Kinsley Locke and Tate Locke, Colton Morgan and Hayley Morgan and Emily Nunez and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, Arris Graham and a twin sister, El Dorse Mathews.
