Edith Fowler

Private service for Edith Flower, age 95, of Greenville will be held at a later date. Mrs. Fowler passed away on October 30, 2019 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital, Sulphur Springs.

Edith Marie was born on August 24, 1924 in Alvin, Texas to Thomas and Florence Harness. She married Thedford Fowler in Greenville in February 13, 1945. Edith was a Rancher and lifetime member of the American Red Angus Association and lifetime member of the Red Angus Association of Texas.

She is survived by her children, Betty Rubarts and husband, Buford of Cumby, Bert Fowler and wife, Penny of Celeste, Dorothy Thomas of McKinney, Mary Wallace and husband, James of Yantis, Robert Fowler of Greenville; grandchildren, Andrea Hudgeons (Jerry) of Royse City, Andy Rubarts (Amy) of Miller Grove, Abby Thomas of McKinney, Serena Champion (Charlie) of Greenville TX, Crystal Doty of Greenville TX, Chelsea Burruss (Adam) of Canton TX, Joshua McLaughlin of Greenville, TX ; great grandchild, Pauline Rubarts, Sharise Doty of Greenville TX, Seth Doty of Greenville TX, Elijah Burruss of Canton TX, Londyn Burruss Canton TX; dear friends, Chris White and Bob Greenway.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, William Fowler; son-in-law, Ronnie Thomas; daughter-in-law, Glenda Fowler; siblings, Earl Harness, Meredith Surface, Vivian Harness, Ernest Harness, Leland Harness, Vernon Harness.
