Funeral services for Earnie Hoskinson, age 76, of Sulphur Springs will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 7, 2010, with Rev. Kevin Brown. A military graveside service, under the direction of the Hopkins County Military Coalition, will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Neville Stiltner, Charlie Hoskinson, Delbert Ilam, Henry Hill, Ronnie Randolph, Aaron, Jason and Spencer Stvinoha. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Louse, Riley Morris and Pete Coke. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Earnie Hoskinson passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab. He was born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, on November 14, 1933, the son of Albert Hoskinson and Prudence (Kirtley) Hoskinson. Mr. Hoskinson was a retired carpenter and a member of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include: three daughters, Tina Jordan and husband, Brad, of Whitehouse, Melinda Betz and husband, Donald, of Sulphur Springs, Mitzie Stavinoha and husband, Jim, of Dallas; son, Douglas Hoskinson and wife, Norma of Sulphur Springs; three sisters, Mary Burks, of Sulphur Springs, Linda Gates of Indiana and Geneva Dailey of California; brother, John Hoskinson of Indiana; grandchildren, Charlie Hoskinson, Neville Stiltner, Lavanna Stiltner, Amanda Hoskinson, Jason Stavinoha, Spencer Stavinoha, Aaron Stavinoha, Erica Stavinoha, Braden Jordan and great-grandchild, Aden Stiltner. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Kiker and Ruth Edgington and two brothers, Harold and Charles Hoskinson.E.
