Earle Johnson, Jr.

A graveside service for Earle Johnson, Jr., age 78, of Cumby, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2013 at Cumby Cemetery, with Pastor Deidre Maples officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Earle Johnson, Jr. passed away Saturday morning, July 20, 2013 at Rock Creek Health and Rehabilitation. He was born in Pontiac, Illinois on February 21, 1935, the son of Earle Johnson, Sr. and Clara Johnson. He married Mary Ann Johnson in Marshall on January 18, 1980; she survives. He was a retired road construction worker from A. K. Gillis and Sons and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Cumby.
Other survivors include: daughter, Staci Jo Bridges of Cooper; son, Michael Eugene Johnson of Paris; grandchildren, Brittanie Kay Porter, Hunter James Milam, Zachary David Pack, Sadie Nicole Pack, Violet June Bridges, Kera Bridges, Brittany Bridges, Wesley Bridges and Andy McCullough and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
