Earl Stokes, Sr.

A memorial service for Earl Stokes Sr. will be held at 10:00 a.m.Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Patrick Hilliard and Nicholas Bradford officiating. No formal visitation.
Earl Stokes Sr. passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Tyce, Florida on February 18, 1943, the son of John and Julie Stokes . He married Serepta Gail Martin in Rosenberg, TX on February 14, 1986. She survives. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the Lake Fork Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: sons, Earl Henry Stokes Jr. of Farmersville, and Patrick Hilliard and wife, Shelli of Cooper; daughter, Toni State and husband, Adam of Austin; grandchildren, Logan & Meghan Stokes, Skyler Strickland, and Denver Hilliard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Billy Stokes
