Memorial Services for Roger Havner, age 72 of Dike, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Don Goldsmith officiating.

Mr. Havner passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born March 13, 1944 in San Angelo, Texas. He was a Truck Driver and served in the US Army.

Roger married Jimmie Mae Denny on August 30, 1993, in Quitman, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Jimmie of Dike, daughters, Kelly and Coach Patterson of Greenville and Shelly and Larry Yager of Sulphur Springs. Three Sons: James and Tina Fouse and Ricky Overly of Sulphur Springs, and Tracy and Missy Overly of Dike, Daughters, Linda and Chuck Lambe of Dike and Lou and Jeff Box. Special grandson Landon Overly. One brother, James Havner of Austin. Three sisters, June Gibbons and Jane Simmons of Sulphur Springs and Judy Prather of New Iberia, Louisiana. 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, two brothers and one sister.
