A funeral service for Earl Glenn, 94, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 22, at First Baptist Church in Spence Chapel, with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating.
Interment will follow at Yantis Cemetery, with Justin Glenn, Kendall Glenn, Logan Glenn and Wilson Elder serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Charles Dawson.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, March 21 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Earl died Thursday, March 20, 2014 in Sulphur Springs.
He was born October 10, 1919, in Pickton, the son of Robert Lee Glenn and Nellie May Coker Glenn.
He married Florence Evelyn Wallace January 18, 1941, in Hopkins County. She preceded him in death in 2012
He was a retired state trooper and he was a member of First Baptist Church where he was a member of Radio-TV Sunday School Class.
Survivors include son, Don Glenn and wife, Jane, of Yantis; grandchildren, Stacy Elder and Justin Green and great-grandchildren, Everette Elder, Wilson Elder, Kendall Glenn, Logan Glenn and Faith Glenn.
Memorials may be made to the Yantis Cemetery Association.
