Dwayne Boyd

Funeral Services for Dwayne Boyd, age 55 of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016 at First Baptist Church Yantis with Bro. Byron George and Rev. Craig Vance officiating. Interment will follow at Yantis Cemetery with Sidney Walker, Larry Ponder, Tim Ponder, Marcus Hill, Wesley Attaway and Mike Smith serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Boyd passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. He was a funeral director, lifetime member of the First Baptist Church Yantis and was a member of the Yantis Masonic Lodge.

He was born on August 22, 1960, the son of Marvin Calvin & Willie Jean (Bice) Boyd in Sheffield, Alabama.

Survivors include daughters, Crystal Boyd of Justin and Tiffany Maynard and husband, B.J. of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Lexi, Hunter and Gage and mother, Jean Boyd.

He was preceded in death by his father.
