Dorothy McPherson

Graveside service for Dorothy McPherson, age 80 of Scurry, TX will be held at 2:00
P.M. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Mt. Sterling Cemetery with Buddy officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Mrs. McPherson passed away on December 4, 2021 at Seasons Hospice of Texas Health.

Dorothy was born on December 4, 1941 to Eugene Thomas and Lera Dorothy (Neely) Myers. She married Bobby Joe McPherson on October 12, 1957 in Wilmer, TX. Dorothy worked as a supervisor for Sears.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby; son, Ricky McPherson and wife, Kim; daughter, Shelia Senning and husband, Patrick; daughter-in-law, Carol Myers; grandchildren, Zachery McPherson, Shawnna Griefnow and husband, Kenny, Asheley McPherson, Jennifer Jimenez, Lisa Bush and husband, Ray, Charles Nicholson, Ben Senning, Patrick Senning, Rebecca McPherson, Jason McPherson, Bobby McPherson and wife, Tara and Robert McPherson; great grandchildren, Shawn Griefnow, Kyra Griefnow, Danny Griefnow, Alexander McPherson, Joshua McPherson, Rachel McPherson, Elizabeth McPherson, Rebecca McPherson, Katherine McPherson, Kale McPherson, Breckon Byers, Braylon Byers and Carter Martin.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Robert McPherson the second and Donald McPherson; brothers, David Myers and Norman Myers; granddaughter, Amanda McPherson.
