Dorothy Campbell

A funeral service for Dorothy Campbell, age 84, of Stamford will be conducted at Brashear Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 23, 2014, with Brother David Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Sunny Point Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Dorothy Campbell passed away at the Community Care Center in Stamford Wednesday evening, February 19, 2014. She was born in Cumby June 21, 1929, the daughter of Bunis William Moreland and Sara Berniece Gunter Moreland. She married Thomas Marvin Campbell. He preceded her in death in 2005. She was a retired postal clerk and a member of Brashear Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Rick Campbell of Stamford and Michael Campbell of Cumby and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother, Charles William Moreland and grandson, Thomas Bryan Campbell.
