Doris Mullen

Funeral Services for Doris Mabe Mullen, age 90 of Mesquite, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Brashear officiating. Interment will follow at Greenview Cemetery with Jon Landers, Sean Reardon, Jeff Landers, Jeremy Landers, Randy Landers and Josh Landers serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Jay Landers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Ms. Mullen passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Notice Residential Care Home in Mesquite.

She was born on January 21, 1925, the daughter of Willie Estes and Mable (Morris) Mabe in Brashear. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include sons, Ronnie Landers of Whitney; Jack Landers, Jr. of Sulphur Springs and Bob Landers of Mesquite; daughter, Brenda Mullen of Dallas; brother, Roger Mabe of Sulphur Springs; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pastor Lonnie Mullen and two brothers, Jake Mabe and Dee Mabe.
