Donna Wells

Funeral services for Donna Wells, age 62, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at Lake Fork Baptist Church, at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2009, with Rev. David Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, with, Joe Wells, Jr., Chris Wells, Josh Wells, Matt Wells, Michael Graham, Scott Danley, Delane Pace and Patrick Pace serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Donna Wells passed away Tuesday morning, March 3, 2009, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Tyler, on August 18, 1946, the daughter of Fletcher L. Bass and Edna (McMillan) Bass. She married Joe Frank Wells, Sr. in Mesquite, on May 11, 1961; he survives. Mrs. Wells was a homemaker and a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: son, Joe Wells, Jr. of Quinlan; two brothers, Fletcher Bass, Jr. of Dallas and Mark Bass of Groesbeck; two sisters, Anita Wilkerson of Wills Point and Patricia York of Kilgore; grandchildren, Josh Wells, Matt Wells, Chris Wells, Ashley Wells and Michael Graham; great-grandchildren, Paisley Wells and Brooklyn Wells. She was preceded in death by son, John Wells.
