Donald Morris, Sr.

A funeral service for Donald Eugene Morris, Sr, age 69, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Shooks Chapel Cemetery with Justin Bowen, Craig Kiser, Johnny Harrington, Wade Medlin, Dan Medlin and Roger Thompson serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2013 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Donald Eugene Morris, Sr. passed away at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler Monday evening, April 1, 2013. He was born in Madison, Mississippi to Olan and Ettalene Morris. He married Carolyn Sue Morris in Durant, Oklahoma on May 13, 1974; she survives. He was a retired truck driver and he was of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include: son, Donald Morris, Jr. and wife, Aundrea; daughter, Brenda Medlin and husband Wade, all of Sulphur Springs; brother, Willard Morris and grandchildren, Gabriel Pierson, Makenzie Morris and Keenan Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alice Evans; brother, James Herbert Morris and grandson, Gavin Pierson.
