Don Creager

A funeral mass for Don Creager, of Sulphur Springs, is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 15, 2008, at St. James Catholic Church. Father Gary Rottman will officiate.

A graveside service will follow in the Calvary Hill Cemetery, in Dallas, at 2:00 p.m.

There will be a rosary at 6:30 p.m., Friday, March 14, 2008, with a visitation from 7:00 t0 9:00 p.m., at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mr. Creagor passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Hospice of East Texas, in Tyler. He was born in Hickory, Oklahoma, on June 8, 1928, the son of Jesse Loyd and Eppie Chapman Creager. He married Rose Marie Conkle in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on May 23, 1953. She survives.

Mr. Creagor was a retired roofing contractor and a dairyman. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Other survivors include: a son Robert Creagor, of North Dakota; two daughters, Pamela Hartman of Nebraska and Christie Quinn of Yantis; grandchildren, Kim Holtslag, Jay Norman, Chris Creager, Marcus Creager, Matthew Creagor, Valorie Hartman, and Creager Quinn; and great-grandchildren, Joshua Jordan, Hailee Creager, Dynalee Creager, Dakota Creager, Macey Creager, Mackinzie Creager, Abigail Creager, Braden Creager, Alexandria Creager, Elizabeth Creager, and Jonathan Creager.

He was preceded in death by three sons, Jimmy Creager, Michael Creager, and Donnie Creager; three brothers, Harvie Creager, Ted Creager, and Calvin Creager; and four sisters, Willie Burrows, Jessie Baker, Katherine Creager, and Pauline Winters.
