Dennis Mayo

A rosary for Dennis Mayo, age 71, of Cumby, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Susai Avula officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 11, 2010.
Dennis Mayo passed away Monday morning, January 8, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Borger, on March 29, 1938, the son of Jef Arthur Mayo and Violet Helen (Beardsley) Mayo. He married Ellen Louise Lisle in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, on June 21, 1975; she survives. He was a retired equipment operator for E-Systems and he was of the Catholic faith. He served in the United States Marines.
Other survivors include: two sons, Chris Mayo of Greenville and Rex Reiber of Cumby; two daughters, Angela Mayo of Elk Grove, California and Michelle McManus of Miller Grove; brother, Doug Mayo of Clarkston, Washington; sister, Kay Mayo of Portland, Oregon; grandchildren, Morgane Milligan, Glenda McManus, Tiffany McManus, Brandi Reiber, Rex "Jr." Reiber, Joe Janson, Becky Coleman, Jennifer Shoaff, Matt Janson and Dylan Mayo and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandson, Montie Wayne Wood.
