Dennis James

Dennis Lee James, age 58, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, passed away, in his home, on Friday, May 26, 2017.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home with Dominique Crescimanno officiating.

Dennis was born in Monette, Arkansas, on March 11, 1959, to Jerry James and Barbara Fortson. After retiring from AMPI, Dennis was self-employed in air conditioning and refrigeration work.

Dennis is survived by his son, Jesse James and wife Melissa, daughters, Ashley McCracken, Cassie Cannon and husband Lonnie, all of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Jason Bohlken of Buena Vista, Colorado, Mindy Bohlken of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and Anna Blackburn and husband Gary, of Mt. Vernon, Texas. Dennis had seven grandchildren, Cheyenne Fouse, Emily James, Chloe Cameron, Kenadi McCracken, John Marcus James, Max McCracken, and Kaylee Bohlken. Sisters: Vanessa Underwood and husband John, of Omaha, Texas, and Judy Drury, of Leachville, Arkansas, and brothers, Rowlan and wife Melinda Meacham, of Denton, Texas and Dana Bramlet of Boston, Massachusetts. Also surviving are previous wives and forever friends, Donna James of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Kelly Bohlken James of Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Barbara and Mac Moore, father Jerry James, brother Marcus Meacham, and sister Millissa Turner.
