David Neill Teer, age 34, of Brownsboro, formerly of Sulphur Springs, passed away Monday morning, April 1, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Tyler, the son of Carl Neill and Jacquelyn McElroy. He married Sandra Koeppen in Athens on November 1, 2011; she survives. He was a truck driver.
Other survivors include: his mother, Jacquelyn Martin and her husband Max; son, Gavin McElroy; daughter, Savannah McElroy, all of Sulphur Springs; two brothers, Chris Gibson and wife, Tera and Mike Gibson and wife, Jeneé; grandparents, John and Nelida Hug and Ida Martin; aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Aaron McElroy.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. There will be no formal visitation.
