Daniel Culbertson

Daniel Ray Culbertson, age 66, of Sulphur Springs passed away Thursday evening, December 19, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Dallas April 9, 1947, the son of John Howard Culbertson and Hilda Flora Duram Culbertson. He married Lillie Blackmon; she survives. He was the retired owner of Ames Computers. He served in the United States Army. He was a decorated Vietnam veteran and received the Purple Heart and Silver Star.
Other survivors include: son, Wayne Culbertson of Sulphur Springs; two daughters, Roxie Lormand and husband Richard of Orange and Andrea Trahan and husband Irby of Groves and sister, Sandra Fay Culbertson of Houston.
He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers and two wives, Evelyn Culbertson and Mary Brown.
No formal service or visitation is scheduled at this time.
