Graveside Services for Tom Wilks, age 64 of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Gafford Chapel with Rev. Larry Maynard officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Tom passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Trinity Mother Frances in Tyler.

He was born on June 5, 1951, the son of Woodrow Wilson and Ethel (Jordan) Wilks in Peerless.

Survivors include his brothers, Darrell Wilks and wife, Trina of Sulphur Springs and Frankie Wilks of Sulphur Springs; sisters, Mary Cheshier and husband, Michael of Greenville, Laura McQueen of Sulphur Springs and Edna Blount of Cooper.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ruby Paulette Wilks and one brother, William Wayne Wilks.
