A memorial service for Clovis Fox , age 80, of Sulphur Springs will be held at First United Methodist Church, at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 10, 2008, with Rev. Russell Floyd and Rev. Debbie Rigsby officiating. A private graveside service will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park prior to the service. There will be no formal visitation. Clovis Fox passed away Thursday afternoon, August 07, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Hopkins County, on June 18, 1928, the son of C. H. "Bill" and Pearlie Winnett Fox. He married Louise Watson in Sulphur Springs, on June 18, 1949; she survives. Mr. Fox was owner of Home Lumber Company and a member of First United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include: two sons, Mike Fox of Austin and Lonnie Fox and wife, Tracey, of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Maleta Reynolds and husband, Ricky, of Sulphur Springs; two brothers, Dwayne Fox of Shirley and Joe Fox of Pueblo, Colorado; sister, Lynda Sue Pettit of Florida; grandchildren, Dru Fox, John Michael Fox, Sarah Fox, Haley Reynolds and Emily Reynolds. He was preceded in death by sister, Janelle Bush. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church.
