Cherry Wells

Graveside service for Cherry Wells, age of 86, of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, November 4, 2019 at Laurel Oaks Cemetery in Dallas, TX with Jerry Savage officiating.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wells passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019 at her residence.

Cherry Lou was born on October 3, 1933 in Nelta, TX to James and Juanita Davidson. She married Arlen Wells on June 9, 1951 in Sulphur Springs. Cherry retired from SSISD. She was a member of the League Street Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Arlen Wells; sons, Ricky Wells and wife, Susan, Monty Wells and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Monica Ames and husband, Jason, Mandi Rose and husband, Marshall, Blake Wells and wife, Adrian, Cody Wells; great grandchildren, Presley, Lawson, Fisher, Ellie; sisters Jimmie Woods, Charlene Bentle; brother, George Davidson; numerous nieces and nephews.

Cherry was preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers and sisters.
