Graveside service for Charles Potts, age 81, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Old Tarrant Cemetery with Rowdy France officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Brody Potts, Lane Potts, Mason Potts, Maddox Potts, Anderson Adams and Haygen Potts. There will be no formal visitation. Mr. Potts passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 at residence in Sulphur Springs.
Charles was born on October 15, 1938 in Brashear to Charlie Eual “Chock” and Delila Francis Potts. He married Betty France in Sulphur Springs, TX on June 2, 1961. Charles was a truck driver for Wingo Feed and a member of the Cross Country Cowboy Church.
Charles is survived by his wife, Betty; sons, Charles “Butch” Potts Jr. and Kelly Potts and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Amber Adams and husband, Dustin, Brody Potts and wife, Sarah, Raven Potts, Lane Allton Potts, Haizley Potts, and Hadley Potts; great grandchildren, Mallari Moody, Mason Potts, Maddox Potts, Anderson Adams, and Haygen Potts.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clinton Potts.
