Charles Hayes

Charles Hayes, age 81, of Sulphur Springs passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, in Sulphur Springs, Texas.  A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

Charles Randolph Hayes was born on November 6, 1942 in Atlanta, Texas to Charles and Rena Hayes.  He married Marie Pilgrim on June 14, 1962 in Daingerfield, Texas.  Charles retired from Wal-Mart as a truck driver.  He was also a Supervisor at Lone Star Steel and then drove truck for himself for several years. 

He is survived by his wife, Marie Hayes; daughters, Traci Kinsey and husband, Jeff, Nancy Stillwagoner and husband Rusty; grandchildren, Hannah Kinsey, Dillon Kinsey and wife, Baile; brothers, Clarence and Larry Hayes.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Samuel Charles Stillwagoner; brother, Jerry Hayes and sister, Betty Rose Calloway.
