Charles Davin

Charles Davin, age 88, of Sulphur Springs passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at Sunny Springs Nursing Home. He was born in Sioux City, Iowa, May 28, 1923. He was engaged to Peggy Bunch of Sulphur Springs. He was the owner and president of In Place Linings, Inc. in Ft. Worth for 45 years and he was a member of Church of Christ. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and spent time on a submarine in the Sea of Japan.
Other survivors include: son, Randell P. Davin of Ft. Worth; brother, Bob Davin of Charles City, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his son Charles M. Davin.
Inurnment will be held at Dallas National Cemetery at a later date.
