Charles Craig

Funeral service for Charles and Janice Craig, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 12, 2021 at League Street Church of Christ with Jerry Savage officiating.  Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.  Mr & Mrs. Craig passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, in Sulphur Springs.

Charles was born on February 20, 1935 in Gorman, Texas.  He  married Janice Gideon on August 2, 2003 in Sulphur Springs.  Charles retired from Double Eagle Trucking, he was a Comptroller and CPA.  He loved to read, do puzzles and garden, but most of all, he loved to travel with Janice.  Charles was a member of League Street Church of Christ.

He is survived by his children, Brad Craig and wife, Jan, Karri Isaac and husband, Rick,  Amy Dennis and husband, Jon Paul; grandchildren, Taylor Duncan, Ethan Chapman, Jaguar Chapman, Colin Dennis, Faith Weir Benjamin Craig, Katlyn Kuyt and Lauren Smith;  nine great grandchildren, seven brothers and sisters. Also surviving are the children of Janice; Keith Carter and wife, Debbie of  Greenville, Indiana, Bret Carter of Thornton, Texas, Pamela Carter of Sulphur Springs, Texas; grandchildren, Chance Eppars, Reese Eppars, Emma Carter.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janice; son, Wade Craig.
