Cecil Yarbrough

Funeral services for Cecil Yarbrough, age 83, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2008, with Rev. B. J. Teer officiating. Interment will follow at Gafford Chapel Cemetery, with Stewart Long, Ronnie Long, Clinton Long, John Champaign, George Walker and Jed Walker serving as pallbearers. The family will meet friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., just prior to the service.
Cecil Yarbrough went to his eternal rest at 4:10 a.m., on Monday June 30, 2008. He was born on September 4, 1924, in Miller Grove, the son of Elmer and Ruby Petty Yarbrough. He had worked over 40 years for Mrs. Baird's bakery in Dallas. Cecil had been a resident of the Carriage House Manor since early March of 2006. The family appreciates the kindness and compassion the nursing staff gave Cecil while in their care. Also our thanks to Dr. Arnecke for his attentive medical services rendered in Cecil's behalf.
Survivors include: brother, L. M. Yarbrough and his wife, Lucille, of Athens; grandsons, Joey and Jason Ausbrooks of Dallas; brother-in-law, R. A. Long of Sulphur Springs; sister-in-law, Johnnie Yarbrough of Jacksonville, Arkansas and a number of nieces and nephews.
