Catherine Petty

Graveside services for Catherine Petty, age 79 of Cumby will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Cumby Cemetery with Rev. Howard Strickland officiating. There will be no formal visitation.

Catherine passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville. She was born on May 6, 1936 in Greenville, the daughter of H.E. and Austin (Girdner) Swann. She was married to Dr. Dane Petty, who preceded her in death in 2015. She was a retired teacher and had a Bachelor's degree. She was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her son, Greg Petty of Cumby; daughter Stefanie Petty of Cumby and sister, Mary Callan of Cumby.

She was preceded in death by one son, Brett Petty.
