Carmen Rivera

A memorial service for Carmen Margarita Rivera, age 94, of North Hollywood, California will be held at Fellowship Christian Church, at 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2009, with Rev. Tom Frisbie officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Carmen Margarita Rivera passed away Thursday afternoon, January 22, 2009, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Morovis. Puerto Rico, on March 3, 1914, the daughter of Epifanio Velez and Carmen Margarita Franco. She was a secretary for the Board of Education Child Guidance Bureau for the State of New York through New York City. She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include: son, Art Romanat of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Margaret Chastain; sister Marina Huyke, both of Los Angeles, California; five grandchildren, Kyle Romanat, Kendra Romanat, Kory Romanat, Jason Schubert and Jenny Schubert; eleven great-grandchildren, Josh, Caleb, Morisa and Austin Romanat, Jaylen, Addison and Jackson Schubert, Fletcher and Mitchell Romanat and Jizelle and Jase Schubert.
