Funeral services for Carl Elmo Anderson, age 86, of Sulphur Springs,TX will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Bro. David Hamm officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Kris Anderson, Jeremy Cruz, Darren Renshaw, Pat Potts, Otis Walls and Bo Potts serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday, October 27, 2017 Mr. Anderson passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in Dallas, Texas.

Carl Elmo Anderson was born on August 21, 1931 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Carl and Vesta Pearl (Vickers) Anderson. He married Patsy Pearl Irby on July 21, 1952 and she preceded him in death in 2005. He married Louise Potts on December 29, 2006. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Carl was a member of Freedom Church of God and sang in the choir. He retired from Jorgenson Steel as a purchasing agent.

He is survived by his wife, Louise; son, Kevin Anderson and wife, Suzie; grandchildren, Kris Anderson and wife, Ali, Jordan Cruz and husband, Jeremy; great grandchildren, Kutter Anderson, Willow Anderson, Meadow Cruz, Riley Anderson; step-grandchildren; Brandon Walls and wife, Mary, Marisa Nixon and husband, Matt.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; son, Philip Anderson and grandson, Ian Anderson.
