Graveside funeral services for Bonnie Kay Bearden, age 61, of Winnsboro will be 1:00 pm, Monday, February 2, 2009 at Hopewell Cemetery in Winnsboro with Rev. Nub Brown officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 till 7:00 p.m., Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral.
Mrs. Bonnie Bearden passed away Friday, January 30, 2009 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Ft. Worth. She was born in Pittsburg, TX on March 20, 1947, the daughter of Charlie and Bennie Sparks Peckham. She married Bobby Norman Bearden in Winnsboro, TX. He survives. She was a retired nurse and of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include: daughter, Patricia Porter of Mt. Vernon; sons, Jackie Norman Bearden of Winnsboro, Claxton Wayne Bearden of Winnsboro, George Grant Bearded of Paris, and Kevin Don Bearden of Winnsboro; her father, Charlie Peckham of Winnsboro; brothers, Charles Ray Peckham of Winnsboro, Howard Peckham of Dallas, and George Monroe Peckham of Scroggins; sisters, Brenda Rogers of Winnsboro, and Virginia Tabor of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Jessica Porter, Bridgett Porter, Shannon Bearden and Justin Ray Bearden.
She was preceded in death by her mother; son, Tommy Bearden; sister, Ruth Jane Peckham; and brother, Bueford Peckham.
