Bobby Ramsey, Sr.

A funeral service for Bobby J. Ramsey, Sr., age 65, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., December 6, 2012, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. B. J. Teer officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., prior to the service.
Bobby J. Ramsey, Sr. passed away at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital Tuesday, December 4, 2012. He was born in Sulphur Bluff on April 29, 1947, the son of J. A. Ramsey and Amar Sue (Davis) Ramsey. He married Patsy (Wilson) Mick in Durant, Oklahoma on November 23, 1975. She survives. He was retired from Sulphur Springs Culture and he was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: three sons, Kevin Mick Sr. and wife, Cuba of Sulphur Springs, Charles Mick of Amarillo and Kenny Kizer of Sulphur Springs; three daughters, Ruthie Mayers and husband, Gary of Brinker Community, Rhonda Whittle of North Hopkins and Heather Ormania of Suphur Springs; four brothers, Jamie Ramsey and wife, Peggy of Quinlan, Mike Ramsey and wife, Marsha of Garland, William Ramsey and wife, Donna, of Nelta and Dennis Ramsey of Sulphur Bluff; two sisters, Martha Cox and husband, Jim of Sulphur Springs, Linda Johnese and husband, Dick of Vadila, Louisiana; grandchildren, Christopher Whittle and Anna, Shawn Edwards and Chelsia, Bryan Ramsey, Kevin Mick, Jr., Morgan Mayers, Jace Mayers, Mallory Mick, Katlyn Ewton, and Kailynn Ormania and great-grandchildren, Ryan Lee Whittle and Logan Edwards. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bobby Joe Ramsey, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Margie Ramsey; granddaughter, Cheyenne Ramsey and special nephew, James "Boogie" Ramsey.
