Billy Omer Ray

Funeral Service for Billy Ray, age 83, of Humble, TX will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home, Sulphur Springs, TX.   Bill Morgan will officiate.  Burial will be at Forest Academy Cemetery, Como, TX.   Mr. Ray passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 in Cypress, TX.

Billy Omer Ray was born to Omer and Vernell (Jennings) Ray on May 13, 1940 in Hopkins County.

He is survived by wife, Rita Ray; daughters, Robin Morgan (Bill), Rebecca Lewis (James); grandchildren, Scott Morgan, Christy and Colby McGinnis, Mandy and Kent Carroll, Dustin Morgan, Emily and Chris Morales, Evan Lewis; great-grandchildren, Josie Bowers, Malachi McGinnis, Selah McGinnis, Jude McGinnis, Reed Carroll, Callie Carroll.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Omer and Vernell Ray and his first wife, Pat Ray.
