Billy Crump

Funeral services for Billy "Bill" Crump, age 75, of Sulphur Springs, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Rev. Mac Bearss and Rev. Michael Moore will officiate.

A military graveside service will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, with Joe Suggs, Glenn Lovett, Don Temples, Billy Wayne Orr, Brad Diener, Don Deaton, Eddie Malloy, and Gordon Lee serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6:00 t0 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mr. Crump passed away on Monday Morning, March 3, 2008, at Hospice Homeplace of Tyler. He was born in the Brinker Community, on November 2, 1932, the son of William and Ola Campbell Crump. He married Laverne Hanusch, in Sulphur Springs, on September 8, 1959. She survives.

Mr. Crump was retired from TCA Cable TV. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Other survivors include: a son, Travis Crump; a daughter, Rhonda Crump Harry; a brother, Darel Crump, all of Sulphur Springs; and grandchildren, Charlotte Janway, Dustin Harry, and Derek Harry.
