Billie Temples

Billie K Temples of McKinney, TX died peacefully on January 23rd, 2013. He was born August 31, 1921 on a farm near Sulphur Springs, TX. After serving his country in the Pacific during WWII, Bill and his wife, Arlene F. McDonald Temples settled in Dallas. Bill had a long and distinguished career working for the US Postal servicing, retiring in 1980. He was very active in his church serving as deacon, Sunday School director, and made countless homebound and hospital visits. He was predeceased by his parents, Ewing and Ethel Temples, a brother, Lyn Temples, his wife Arlene F McDonald Temples after 53 years of marriage. He is survived by son and his wife, Jerry and Elizabeth Temples of McKinney, TX, daughter Donna Temples Wortham and her husband Sam of Sante Fe, NM, brother, Aubrey Temples and his wife Gwin of Carrollton, TX and sister Rosemary Gregg and her husband Bill of Dike, TX. Bill has 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services Saturday, January 26, 2013 10am at Custer Road United Methodist church in Plano TX. A military graveside service, under the direction of the Hopkins County Military Coalition, will follow at Shooks Chapel Cemetery in Hopkins County, TX at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, January 26, 2013.
