Billie Johnson

Funeral service for Billie Johnson, age 53, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel, Sulphur Springs with Rev. Neal Cochran officiating. Interment will follow at City Cemetery with Marrow Johnson, David Normdeau, Dakota Patton, DeWayne Johnson and Marcus Gotcher serving as pallbearers. Ms. Johnson passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017.

Billie Ruth Johnson was born on May 24, 1964 in Terrell, Texas, the daughter of Melrose Miller and Bettey Ruth (Thornburgh) Johnson. She worked most of her life as a waitress.

She is survived by her son Marrow Johnson and wife, Christina Hodges; grandsons, Adam Johnson, Raythan Hodges, Lance Hodges; granddaughters, Karen Hodges, Kara Hodges, Kayleena Hodges; sister, Opal Normandeau; brothers, Ernest Johnson and wife, Freida Stone-Johnson, Eddie Johnson.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gary Johnson, Billy Wayne Johnson; sisters, Frances Sue Johnson, Gladys Johnson.
